Ah, with how much was being revealed I was totally expecting you to just dump her life story to everyone and have them react to it. That thankfully didn't happen though. We have more to be revealed in rather inopportune moments instead. Which is what makes a story! Yay! I'm assuming that's where you're going at least. 'Cause Poppy is so not the kind of person that'd reveal that kinda stuff by herself. Good chapter though. Keep up the good work!

Butterbeer contains such small amounts of alcohol that only creatures like house elves can actually get drunk off of it without killing themselves from water toxicity. It's basically kinderbeer (Kid's beer). Which is probably why people in the wizarding world allow eleven year olds to drink it.

Polyjuice imitates the outward appearance of an individual. It cannot mimic scar tissue or other such imprints within someone's body
Except for... literally all of Mad Eye Moody's body? It can even take and give away limbs and organs. Polyjuice is... SCARY accurate.

Happy to see another chapter so soon.
First bit was a bit cringy. She is a hardened witch and you had her throwing herself a pitty party. I get she is nervous about harry, but he made the decision to fight was his.
Why would poppys magic be picked up on trace? Cant students use magic in hogsmead? Im in the camp were the trace cant tell who used magic in magical centers such as diogon, hogsmeed, wizarding houses, they can tell magic was used but not by whom.
As for poppy finding out her parents made a mistake by letting her go. She sure decided to believe them quickly.
I guess im just wanting the old poppy back.
Poppy should have told ginny a secret of harry to her since he thinks there should be no secrets.

Oh harry...so quick to jump the gun smh. At least poppy knows she’s wanted~ and is her secret guardian regulus? Some reason I think it’s him. Tonks was so out of line here..I know she wants to do her job and may have bias but still lady. Not even Moody was so forward with arresting a teen and taking her without her parents. As much as I don’t like Dumbledore, he’s really smooth with technicalities lol. See ya at the next one~

Hermione’s apology was not even a real apology, more like a demand. And her being jealous and competitive isn’t the only issue. How about her and everyone believing the worst in Poppy even though Poppy has always been the first one to defend and protect them? How about everyone believing Ginny’s lies and taking her side? I mean Hermione and Harry chose Ginny over Poppy! Or how about the fact that none of them truly checked in on Poppy or asked how she was doing? I mean Hermione is all “it’s been horrible without you” but what about what Poppy has been through? What about how horrible it’s been for her? They are her so called best friends and it’s like they don’t truly care about her wellbeing. They are focused on what Poppy gives them. She deserves better and there are A LOT of unresolved issues that need to be dealt with before Poppy should fully forgive them or trust them again.

Two things: Very surprised that Poppy suddenly knows legilimancy. Also, after she complained about Harry et al handling things by themselves she turns around and does the same thing with Scabbers in what seems like a violent zigzag in the plot, almost like the author hated book 3 and tried to derail it ASAP.
