Poor baby :'( I hate to see Lavinia in pain. She's brave for even putting up with all of it, and giving herself up for Jane. It's all so much for one tiny princess. This was such a nice addition. The way you wrote her ordeal really tugged at my heart strings but it's gave me relief too because at least she's alive!

FYI You're the one who needs to watch a Lion documentary on mating, SunRise19. Lions DO NOT do it the way WTF123 aka Rogue Lion intends to portray in his upcoming stories. See for yourself, WTF123, Passion Beneath the Stars. Is this REALLY what you endorse?

Poor Lavinia. I really feel like I just read the thoughts of a child- well done! This is pretty heartbreaking.

Lavinia! We are coming for you, Girlfriend!
Thank you so very much for this contribution. It was exactly what we needed. Lavinia is not stupid, nor is she as immature as we think she is, but she IS 10, in pain, and afraid. She’s handling it quite well, even managing to be respectful to her captors. She’d have a very hard time processing everything going on around her, and your writing brings this across very clearly. The word choice, the imagery, the small actions. UGH- so fabulous. I loved it.
I am also very grateful for the compassion of the one knight. Algernon’s thugs may(?) be bad people, but they are still people- with lives, loves, families of their own. You have to wonder what their own motives are: perhaps this knight (let’s say he was the bribed one meant to babysit Algernon?) was coerced. Perhaps he is concerned for his own family’s safety and had no choice. Maybe did have a choice and realized his mistake? In any case, you’ve managed to make me think about the character of a man who was really created as a plot device. Amazingly done.

Aw Lavinia! Hang in there, kiddo... Help is on the way!
Brilliantly executed and heartbreaking. I love the way all of the sensory feedback she's getting is so scattered. She's having a hard time interpreting it... as she WOULD, under the circumstances.
Still, she has some flashes of rather keen insight about Algernon's character and her situation, given her tender age and the hellish ordeal she's currently enduring.
It's just so desperately sad, how she's longing for things to be the way they were before, yearning even for the parts of her life that ordinarily she considers to be annoyances... overprotective parents and teasing brother.
I find myself grateful for the unexpected kindness of one of Algernon's knights. And for this very bittersweet little fic! So glad you decided to join the game! :)
