Great story. I'd always wondered about poor Jaffen and how he carried on after Voyager left Quarra. I always viewed the mass memory-altering, followed by being assigned as workers as a type of assimilation, where they didn't totally lose their individuality, but had definitely been altered!

I really enjoyed your take on this episode, and I agree with you about the J/C aspects of that storyline. Thank you for writing an interesting and believable idea. Great!

This was a really interesting perspective, seeing this unfold from the view of someone who really had lost a chunk of their life due to abduction (rather than the days/weeks for Voyager). I liked how introspective it was, and that we got to see both a happy and a sad ending. Really nicely done!
