The shooting star ring was supposed to negate the exp loss for the super tier spell 'wish upon a star'. Also super tier spells don't use mana, they just have super long cooldown.

Now that I think about it, doesn't Gabriel's WCI provide limited invincibility? Even if it's just for a short period of time that should help him immensely. Oh jeez Nava too OP please nerf lmao

So many questions unanswered at the beginning of this chapter... Why Alisha wouldn't want her husband to pursue vengeance, why it's possible for her to create a portal to another world using yggrdrasil exclusive items, why she somehow knew she was going to die, why she somehow knew the npcs were sentient, why she neglected to tell Gabriel of the hierarchy's sins... As I suspected the npcs do have a contingency for Gabriel finding the world gate, though that does beg the question of the memory spell or skill they used to hide their discretion such as why they didn't use it before or why they decided to use it in the first place. Though this still makes me wonder why Alisha would be so wary of Gabriel exacting his vengeance. From what I can think of there would be two reasons, reason or sentimentality. Reason would be if Gabriel returns to earth without any of his yggrdrasil abilities and would then be threatened by death by those who killed Alisha who would naturally not want Gabriel to sacrifice himself for her sake especially when she's already dead. Sentimentality would dictate that she doesn't want him to be warped by his pursuit of revenge in that he wouldn't be the same man she loved by following this urge. If this is the case I find most of her actions to be unnecessary and duplicitous because while his initial state upon her death was what she would have feared, he did recover in a timely matter. (that said, I'm not entirely sure on how the emerald dragon's soul affected him and if she planned for that) lmao 19 chapters in and the mc finally uses a martial art skill... I'm definitely disconcerted at the end of this chapter somehow this alternate reality has a player(I'm assuming) that brought or summoned a ridiculous raid boss that somehow outclasses our MC even with his reality breaking abilities and magic. While the interactions have an interesting appeal I'm not really distressed by the fact this world is ending(not a complaint just a fact).

He hasn't used any skills in the fight so far at all? just relying on regular fighting is a dumb move here. And then he's gonna pin it all on a new ability that comes out of nowhere?

This is a lot of backstory and introspection it kind of drowns you in it. A lot of it doesn't seem really relevant either tbh. I'd rather have slow reveal of a backstory than be given everything at once.

So what happen to that shadow man in chapter 21? Did he follow or is he stuck back in his world?

I would love Gabriel and Zesshi meeting and do what is on everyone's mind. Hope you come back soon on your Madara story and this one, they are jewels in a sea of copper

Dude, even for a BRIDGE chapter, I massively enjoy this! Like, there was no WAY I could expect the chapter to open up with REMEDIOS of all people, getting put into her place! It instantly hooked me because that woman needed a reality check! Hell, even her own sister had to slide in and get on her about it. The fact her own 'previous' subordinates prefer Arburt over her should show her how inefficient she is with how she goes about things. Maybe she can mellow out and start to freaking THINK for one about her words and actions before doing them.
Gazef X Alleta!? I joke, yes but...seems like those two actually are interested in each other. I don't think Alleta comes off as the type to flirt with him subtly and not show genuine interest. Same with Gazef. If he can only stop kissing the king's feet for 5 minutes and check her out, even though she's a spy for Gabe, I think he'd have some genuine happiness going for him there.
Astraea...? I had to go back and see. Riiiight, he and Cassiel pissed the other off and Gabe punished them. Hell, beat the shit out of Astraea in the Training Room, right? But he seems to know what he's doing when he picked her. He's right. Children are always the least suspicious in these kinds of scenarios. And now Gabe's about to come back. JOY! I wonder what new shit he's bringing with him this time.

Is this is a shared universe with The Exiled story?
I noticed Artorias and Avalon and Draconis who i assume has the lastname Brightblade. If so then its either intentional or a 1 in a million coincidence

Hahaha seeing Remedios getting humilliated never gets old. She never get a break (and she does little to deserve it).
Very interesting selection of spies and how it reflects the concept that they have about them: the cute, mighty lvl 100 Astraea for the Slane Theocracy and a rescued, New World native for the Re-Estize Kingdom (who might be lvl 20, 25 at most).
I'm very curious of what Gabriel would say when he returns to the Keep. He will start asking questions about the gate...
About the levels: honestly I disagree. For me, a lvl 100, blood frenzy empowered and with the killing intent Shalltear shouldnt have been resisted by a lvl 75 captain. And there is also the fact that New World natives have sub-optimal builds in general compared to YGGDRASIL beings, so weaker in clases and stats.
In short:
Survived: Yes (damaged by the blow btw).
Resisted: no.
In any case, the one who could have resisted briefly and not being much damaged by the blow should have been Zesshi (who I also think she is weaker than the lvl 85 you mentioned)
While the level gap at higher levels is not that imposing, it's still a 25 levels gap between Shalltear and the captain.
I thing that the problem is that we have a case of "Early Installment weirdness": I think that for that encounter, the captain was made stronger that what he really is. And later we are going to see that, while strong, he shouldnt have resisted Shalltear in that moment.
Something like what happened with Crocodile of One Piece: Eichiro Oda admitted that Crocodile was introduced too early. So, in later arcs, he seemed to have powered up.
Although I'm not counting Zesshi's talent, which might make her more dangerous than her levels imply.
AndnI also not considering their equipment (but still, the gear that they can use considering their levels shouldn't have made much of a difference)
Anyway, that's my theory.
I loved the chapter
And take care!

‘Shewed’
Verb
Past tense for ‘shew’ and the old fashioned way of spelling ‘show’
...
Heh
I was half considering leaving my review at this but I feel that’s be lazy even if it’d be fricking hilarious. Anyways onto the rest of the review; the characters showcased in this snippet were very well placed and it certainly does not detract from what we know of the canon characters at all in this case. I point to the Custudios’ Sisters and the Blonde Demoness Herself Princess (God why do royalty have long ass names) Renner to be prime examples of these canon characters. The original characters added by you fit perfectly in the roles in which they’ve been assigned for their tasks.
A story is much like a soup, or stock in this case as a fanfiction story adds meats and veggies to it to help bring it out to be a better story, most of the time anyways. I’m looking at you toxic bumhole Overtards with your mediocre ‘Ainz-sama’ dildos shoved so far up your rectums people talking to you can see them in your mouths.

Yay, for making their way into significant positions within other nations!
As always I love to see Remedios get her ego put in its place, that is always fun. Not only that but I also loved the little "tension" between Gazef and Miss Alleta, can't wait to see what that brings about.
And the Theocracy bit is a rather tense affair I think, after all they are a considerable issue for anyone one in the world I think, given their godkin and their artifacts.
All and all, another cool chapter, I hope to see more soon.
