Ah you tease us with a mere snippet but it is a very nice well written one. If only Raoul had taken his time and Erik was, well a little less Erik, this is the scene that might of taken place. Sadly Erik sulked behind Apollo and eavesdropped instead of confronting Christine and explaining his actions. That might have changed everything, but of course, the story would be far less tragic. Tragedy's most poignant notes are what might have been...
