Oh man, you have some way with words. I just felt the raw raw emotion rip through me when Sam said "I'm not okay." That's some brutal honesty for a Winchester.
Brilliant story!

Oh this is so sad. I actually felt his grief rip through me. And how Emily behaved in the shop - that was such a heart break. I'm crying now for Sam's sake.

You broke our hearts, but put them back together! I love the bond between Emily and Sam- it's so sweet and so strong already. How they both find peace in each other's arms and presence. Please don't stop writing Emily! She's wonderful- and so are YOU!

Oh my goodness that was so sad - heartbreaking. The way you described that grief of missing the person and automatically going to tell them when something happens and then remembering again that they are gone - that's just how it is. Poor Sam. Sounds like he's not making wise choices about how to deal with it...looking forward to seeing what's next.

Ohhhhh...oh my heart. This story is so bittersweet. All the love that Sam has for his daughter- his heartbreak at losing his sweetheart- how something as simple as a trip to the grocery store can turn into a nightmare when you're in a hell you can't wake up from. You hit the notes beautifully on this. We want to cry with Sam and tell him it will be okay. I cannot wait for part two! Update soon please, you brilliant, talented writer you!

Wow! So realistic and heartbreaking at the same time. Beautiful y written. You should be proud of yourself!
Sam tried so hard yet his griefing walls still closed in on him.
Your story was as if I was there myself. Well done!
Thank you
