Any innuendo you pick up in this review is intended too! (Some of it may be subtle.. let me know if I haven't made my point clear enough)
So, without further undo, here's a list of things I loved about The Night of Anderbad.
. Anderbad. AnderBAD. As in, bad boy, Virgil!
. Badass Penelope Creighton-Ward going all gooey at being pinned down by Virgil. Who wouldn't? (Well, Gordon, probably.) No wonder the ground is hard/moist.
. 'Deep within that tunnel she had felt something'. I've just realised the whole sexual implication was there in the episode right from the start. Trains going deep into tunnels, a damsel in distress and a handsome hero... (should have been Scott but never mind, he got his chance in The Man From MI5)
. Penny trying to reason with herself. Don't bother love, the Tracys are fit af and everyone knows it. Work colleagues my arse!
. 'An almighty bang'. Not the last, either... (sorry am I still being too subtle)
. Drunken Gordon, the accidental matchmaker. It's not long before Virgil is placing his jacket chivalrously around her shoulders and she's stuffing her hand down the back pocket of his jeans.
. Nothing beats trying to flirt/not flirt when someone suddenly shouts 'omg get a room you two' whih is basically what Gordon does (sorry Pen and Ink shippers, this is TOS we're talking here)
. After that, there's no point denying that they like each other. May as well just get down to it!
. TOS Virgil was always the touchy-feely one. Like sitting on the bed holding Tin-Tin after the Hood nobbled her in Desperate Intruder, or carrying the little kid back to bed in Security Hazard, he was the gentle bear of the show. But underneath that gentle exterior there's a fit body with a delicious scent of aftershave and obvious intent in his caramel eyes... oh ffs Penny just get your butt down to his room with the key and...
. HOLY SHIT... from 0 to 1,000 in five seconds flat!
VIRGIL, YOU DAWG!
*Ice bath required*
Chapter 2 will have to go into the M Ratings if it already hasn't.
Good lord. *blinks*
Oh, my. Y'know if I were Penny or indeed Tin-Tin, there's no way I'd be able to keep my hands off ANY of those boys - with the exception of Alan (who I wouldn't even touch if the earth needed repopulating.) Fit, handsome, heroic, probably celibate for most of the year...

The title gave it away, it just had to be Virgil and Penny.
You certainly kept the suspense going all through, will they, won't they, will they? Qudos to Gordon for the virtual kick up the backside.
