A different perspective on Theo and Draco. I typically envision Draco groveling and Theo slithering away. Nice job.

This is quite interesting! And ah, quite sad... even wizards have cancer, I suppose. Magic doesn't cure everything.

"like a manticore at the zoo" - I so enjoyed that description!

Why'd you stop writing this? :)

Interesting ideas, but no continuity.

For instance, in one paragraph Theo, asked "What's your dad doing?", gives a 'big grin' as he describes his dad "silly trying to woo ... also trying to get a publisher to republish..."

Next paragraph Draco is musing about the circumstances of Mr N becoming "prematurely deceased..." Did he know the man was dead or didn't he? (Was the man dead or wasn't he?)

And then the conversation continues, as though Theo and Draco hadn't been, erm, laughing about how Theo's dead dad died...?

There are a few sentences without full stops.

About Old Earth. The Doctor doesn't see Silurians as a race as enemies.
