This has been an very interesting story and clues coming slow as to what and who is involved.
What I really like is that, with Callen and Hanna out of action, Kensi is getting a chance to shine as an investigator. and being allowed to lead. Which is as it should be as she is the NCIS agent and Deeks, while possibly more experienced, would not have the authority on Military matter Kensi would. Having him clarify some things in this chapter was a very good line to follow for him.
But the fact he recognizes a name leads one to believe that eventually his background to be a beneficial addition to the investigation.
Interesting where this is going.

I'm glad to see a new chapter and it's a good one. However, I do want to see more of Callen and Sam if possible. They haven't been seen much since their rescue. Of course, this is your story so I do respect your right to zero in on the characters you choose. It is a good story and very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

There you go... usually al of them are sharp and mostly they sense if someone tells the truth. Right now, we know but Deeks and Kensi don't.
They'll either step into a trap or will notice too late that they wasted time...
