The "driving scene" was mostly ok, but a few pointers for future reference : (1) while preparing to go for a drive, too much _manual shifting_ overheats the engine and makes the trip a short one. Let the car enjoy the scenery too. (2) Also, driving is an adventure and when you have new people on the trip you make sure they don't expect unrealistic things. You wouldn't just let people put their heels up on the dashboard their first ride in the car. Think of that as more a racecar, or professional stunt driver type of activity. "But you don't have to take My word for it. ..."

This story was absolutely beautiful. I loved all the Christian elements, how they prayed at different times and so on. I'm a Christian too. This was such an enjoyable story and it was very well written.

Well written? Couldnt help but smut smile when Data mentioned needing tonrun comstamt self diagnostics. Glad to see Q didn't ruin everything. I liked your strategic use of him in the story.

Good story, but the religious praying and preeching is scary af. Especially since it is playing some hundred years in the future but still affects intelligent brains.

Wow! I didn't see that coming. I always believed Data had a soul , emotion chip or not.
Oh yeah, one person did succeed in the gangplank trial: it was Worf, lol. But Commander Riker made sure he fell into the water. Good story!

I enjoyed reading this! You really should pick it up and add to it. I notice you write from first person perspective and do so quite well. It's been a few months now, since late last autumn. I hope you don't give up! You received several good reviews and as you add each chapter, Data will continue to fit your hand like a velvet glove.
I'm guessing I use pronouns like he or she even though it seems the narrator should be talking in first person. Guess I just distance myself from the story that way plus I only mention that main protagonist by name one time so she appears to be no one special until I drop her name at the end.
