Brilliant from start to finish. Thank you for sharing this. Beautifully written and an emotional roller coaster. Lines blurred, light and shade, filled with action, empathy and excellent brotherly dialogue. Taken a while to catch up but so glad I had the time to binge chapters 4 & 5 tonight.

What can I say, you write your descriptions and emotions so deeply into this fic. You just say enough with the right order of words, in brief sentences, and you can picture what your trying to put into our minds.
You totally lost me in this fic several times, with the two stories twisting together, I was really wondering where this was going. Not expecting you to beat up John as bad as you did! Also very shouty and angry Scott, but really he's shouting because he is scared and only wants to protect those he loves. Also with Gordon fighting back and his description of his emotions through looking at the cracks in a mirror.
I was so impressed. This fic had such a different take and feel on the family dynamic, a dynamic that I'm not used to reading, but it works. Glad you made John start bringing the team back together. Will lookout for the extra chapter you have added in the tumbler.

When someone reads a story you've written and enjoys it, you can smile with satisfaction. When a fellow writer tells you how much they enjoyed your story, and that you are about the best writer they have ever read...you know that it is a true compliment.
Take it from this fellow writer...you are an extraordinarily gifted writer, I think the best I have read so far, and you had me on the edge of my seat right up till the last sentence. Very well done indeed!

Absolutely hooked. This has the old nerves frayed.
All thinking back to the aftermath of the previous incident with no control over this one. John with no data at his fingertips and a weighted responsibility of a tragic outcome with the fear if history repeating. No comms leaving all flailing for a semblence of control and Alan with crucial information for his brothers struggling to escape the clutches of the those who have orchestrated a plot to take one of them ...*deep breath*.
Thrilling read.

OH MY GOD! You can't leave it there! What an absolutely amazing chapter - I need a lie down. Your use of language is just out of this world! I felt every emotion from every person including the shift in Mills towards the end. My heart is literally still pounding. You should be incredibly proud of this story because it is incredible. I really don't want it to end!
*inhales a deep breath* now just one request - please don't kill John they boys just wouldn't cope (and neither would I ) but a good angsty recovery would be fab.
