Right off the top of this chapter I have to point out a major flaw. A person powerful enough to take out a death knight would have been captured instead of killed, especially since Aura thought that she had already killed the target. And then if she wasn't able to capture her, they would have made sure that the bodies of both were retrieved and brought to Nazarick for study. Along with all of their equipment and items of course.

Yup this chapter is a dud. I thought the previous chapter is foreshadowing of what what's to come but you continued it and you didn't even bother to explain why they are now attacking the CSA and to what is the reason they are attacking and what sorts of circumstances that led them to the conclusion?

Why does the SK already conquering CSA without any prior dialogues or events? Is this only the fantasy of the writer?
I have many questions to ask but I am expecting a more thorough timeline of the events, without skipping and details of the aftermath of volume 13. It is usually the case in every volume of overlord. I am more disappointed if maruyama did this kind of story telling and might not like overlord. The key to get the attentions of readers is to properly convey what was happening and conceal what can be conceal and explain in proper order neatly without any skipped content just because you determine that it is unnecessary to explain. Don't assume that the readers know what happens after the incident cause it is important to build foreshadowing to let people know what will happen next and be not left in the dark like a certain novel did.
People want to read cause they enjoy and understand the novel and authors write for readers to read and understand it. In the process, readers could enjoy reading it cause they want to know what's next would happen. while the authors won't complicate things and write the events in chronological order unless the author has different purpose to prevent a major spoiler in the story.
