Are you planning for a third in the series concerning your planned recovery expedition to the colonies and the war against the imperial Cylon Empire ending in the destruction of the hub with the resettlement of the colonial survivors. That would then be followed by the appearance of the rifts on earth at which point the cyrannus sector colonies might be nearing habitability depending on how dirty the nukes were and kobol and new caprica word definitely be habitable.

Hey there, great chapter, thank you! I'm happy to see the Colonials are keeping their ship building skills up, and building new ships.

cant see the Chinese sinking 2 carriers. the Nimitz alone has nine squadrons and staff of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, staffs of CSG 11 and Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 9, the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Sterett (DDG 104) and USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114). USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill (CG 53) and guided-missile destroyers from Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 23, USS Russell (DDG 59), USS Rafaela Peralta (DDG 115), and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11. the Aegis Combat System would detect the attacks from long range and why would thye carriers be within 500 miles of the coast of china? the main strike aircraft have a 1300 kilometer range

I really enjoy when the gods meddle. Plus when we mortals go into trances that help mankind. Nice touch.

This one was good, thanks for writing. I never considered, or knew much about the ship-breaking industry before reading this chapter but it got me thinking, especially the part about taking contracts to breakup other ships. Did you know Britain has a ton of nuclear powered submarines awaiting decommissioning? Yeah, apparently safe removal and destruction of reactors is a difficult and costly task, the US keeps paying to have old soviet nuke boats decommissioned. The Colonials would have the necessary experience for that. Just a crazy thought: refit an old Typhoon class SSBN into a spacecraft.
What is our man Drake up to these days?
Could the Colonials offer a small safe atomic powerplant?
Let's interrupt an espionage attempt in the physical arena.
Will the Colonials keep any ocean-going military assets other than the Rift Subs?
How about assisting SpaceX? Or a multinational station? Or the Luner base? I don't expect answers, I just want you to consider the things my imagination comes up with after reading your story.
I really enjoy this story very much, thanks again. So say we all!

This chapter was pretty good. I kinda miss the narrative on the 'operations' that the Colonials run, example: the way in which they acquired the island was excellently written. Perhaps a chapter on the administration of New Kobol. Its a great story, thank you for writing.

This chapter was excellent as always! Thank you!

Format for the newest chapter came out wrong.

Hey! A great chapter for a great story! Thank you! I'm glad we got our Rift-built submarines in the water on Earth, I can only imagine what a plasma torpedo sounds like on sonar, lol. The drydock idea was a good one, and I liked helping with the space probe. I wonder if we'll assist SpaceX. Both of your stories are A grade, but I like this one best!

there is no helipad on the UN roof, its covered in solar panels, radio receivers and sat uplinks. the Helipad is next to the building. All roof top helipads were banned in 1977 after the pan am crash
