Wow, just wow. You gave not just Johnny , but dally and the whole gang a new life and future wow, love it . Absolutely just - wow! I don't think I'll be able to fully express how much this makes me love you, wow, god bless your existence. Love the ending... I think all the things I can say now is just wow.

there are seriously no words to describe how good this is. it just keeps getting better and better. and i forgot to mention in teh earlier chapter. i really liked how when johnny wanted to go back home, he started wearing his old clothes again. i think that is actually how ppl react. i know from personal experience that when u are dealing with a loss you sometimes want to go abck to something and that is how it can manifest itself, dressing acertain way or wearing your hair a certain way.

THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. and it was really nice how you included ponyboy. like him being scared to mess with dally and just hiding in teh background and then him feeling sad about missing his mom. and then him missing his brothers but then being there! omg. that was too much. it was so nice!

THAT WAS SOOO BEAUTIFUL! OMG his little morning routine was just too much! i couldnt even take it and then ponyboy showing up and you know how emotional those two can be and then dally being like knock off the waterworks ladies. THAT WAS SOOO GOOD AND TOTALLY IN CHARACTER! this is just the best story.

that chapter was amazing. i love all the hints of hte book. i mean this obviously starts before the events of the book but then goes past it but then in a diferent direction. its like a parallel universe of what could have been and i love it. all the premonitions (right word?) about something happening, the church, etc. and how johnny talks about in the hospital in teh book that he hadnt even been out of his neighborhood and regretting it but now its like he gets to really see something and i can imagine him being really taken aback by teh beach. its so nice to see him get so excited actually. over soemthingi know i have taken for granted since i was born near the beach. but i am just loving this and dally seems a little less like soft in this one. not that u ever wrote him too soft, but he seems very in character. its good. and i love him letting johnny make decisions for himself its showing that he not only wants to protect him but is viewing him as growing and trusts him to make his own decisions in life. this was a beautiful chapter. and its nice that dally knew just how to help him.

i love dallys memories of first getting to know johnny and johnny waiting outside for his dad and being ignored. that was so fitting because we know from the book that is what johnny hates the most is feeling unloved and worthless. that was so sad. i almost cried. and i like that there is more to the story that it didnt just end without showing all the repercussions. oh and i loved the phone call to the curtis house!

that was such beautiful imagery with the church and Joe. YOU ARE AMAZING. can this be made into a movie? haha. but these cliff hangers are too much! at least the story is complete and i dont have to wait like a month. haha.

I feel like i am watching the most intense movie ever. I think this portrayal of Dally is very realistic because Dally did go all out trying to hide Johnny in the church and Pony notices that when he comes to the church Dally looks like he hasnt slept or changed clothes in a week and I think that was suppose to hint at Dally being a wreck while they were gone. And he literally kills himself because he doesnt want to live without Johnny and couldnt protect him. He also tries to save Pony and Johnny at that church. So I think it is totally understandable that he would go all teh way to Virginia twice and try to get between Johnny and a bullet or jump into water after him.
