I like the journal format, and I agree that it could be a good way to catalogue the interactions of the characters. I am happy that you have updated! This is absolutely in my top ongoing One Piece stories on this website. Now I just have to reread the previous chapters to get their contents clear in my memory.

This guy and Crocus will have something to bond over old men pulled into the young men's game by someone wishing to be king of the pirates. I'm curious will they get stronger overtime due to the food they eat containing the nutrients e.t.c. Of the One Piece world? similar explanation as to in This Bites.

This was quiet a nice read! I have yet to become supremely invested, but that will surely come with time if you maintain the quality of writing you have shown thus far! I do enjoy a badass old man with a heart of gold.
It was nice to see the Prof. interacting with the crew, and I am excited to see more in the future!

I would of preferred a reincarnation. Rather than an old man starting a new story... Simple because I feel you would make the story short with a sudden heart attack.
