Yay! I loved reading this fic. I just started reading Fairy Tail FFs about a week ago (after reading the whole manga again) and I was interested in nothing much besides Erza/Jellal fictions (they are so hot in the manga!) - until I came across your "Boiling Point". This really brought me to the NaLu side for good. I had no idea how enticing the "close friends become lovers" idea is. Probably never found a convincing story with such a pairing before. Thank you so much for writing this wonderful fiction about our beloved Natsu and Lucy. You created an incredibly deep intimacy, a prolonged yearning and turmoil of desires over many chapters. It's the kind of intimacy I sadly miss in most other stories around here. I loved every word of it. Stories like this are the reason why I write and read fanfiction.

I love the chapter titles! Shows real dedication to have various versions of 'burn' all starting with 's'! Not to mention the definition of each as a sort of intro. Gives it a novelette feel. Thanks for your hard work, looking forward to reading all your other pieces as well!

These two are going to make a baby sooner than later if they keep it up. Love the guild, hitting their expressions right on the head. Bless the chaos that is Fairy Tail. Ah if only this was canon right before the 100yr quest. Loved the story.

Juvia is a silent bro. No one ever thinks she would support and keep it quiet, but I always thought she was kinda a "snitches get stitches" girl. Like she will help you hid the body and not ask questions. Also well played Lucy, why keep it a secret everyone knows and what better way to ,make it known. Finally these poor babies have been wanting it just a little too much. Good pacing, safe sex, consent all good things.

I think Lucys feelings started in ep 1. When Natsu burst onto the scene Lucy was the only one to snap out of the love spell and Id like to believe it was do to her feeling for him beginning. She became aware of her feelings when she had the date planned and decided to go on a mission with Natsu instead. She realized she loved him when he left for the year. Im not sure when Natsu started to fall for her but I agree that he realized his feelings when future Lucy died.

Oh god this is AMAZING! I love the idea of these happened before the 100 years quest. Man, especially when Touka appeared in the sequel, I was like dammit NaLu, make it official already! Anyway, thank u for writing this. I've been searching for NaLu fics after Alvarez and then I found yours.
