How do you convince medieval idiots that it's just a natural disaster, not a wrath of a vengeful god?
By tracing the gauntlets of heracles or the belt of thor to increase his strength by a big degree and use said strength to slam him foot on the ground, creating another miniature earthquake... This will show that either he is a god, or this earthshaking is only a natural phenomenon...
I don't know why people who can use magic, live in a world filled with dragons and inhumans, get so scared of a simple shaking?
By this logic, the miners of this world would be either athiests or robots

As serious and tragic as earthquakes are, I can't help but be amused the entire chapter in how different Shirou's reaction is to the Saderans.
Now I can't stop thinking about how Saderans would react to living in the Philippines getting hit with tropical storms every couple weeks, or in Hawaii with volcanoes spewing lava often.

Ah, shit. I've never even thought of that. How would you explain earthquakes to someone who believes a diety is responsible for everything and doesn't know about or belive in science? There's so many words you'd have to use to explain that they just simply wouldn't understand by virtue of being, well, simple. Politely, they are very very very behind in matters of the mind.
Good chapter, hopefully him saying his home gets earthquakes doesn't have them look at him like he's cursed or something extra superstitious. Hopefully he can also stop being such a doormat who listens to everyone, now that he's in a more headstrong form of Cu.
