I love the way you wrote this!
Your characterization of Visenya is very true to form, in my opinion. Yes, both being married to their brother and Rhaenys being more beloved for her sweetness and charm despite Visenya being the more accomplished and ruthless warrior queen would definitely put a public rift between them. However, as you wrote, they are sisters and would have some history of love for each other.
You are able to get a lot of nuance and drama into just one chapter with your wording and details. If only you were on the writing staff for the later seasons of Game of Thrones.
Would you ever consider doing a second one-shot related to this? For example, before Rhaenys died she failed to take Dorne once before. I wonder what your take on that would be in relation to this (where Rhaenys dies). Would Visenya have posthumous regrets about being hard on Rhaenys after that attempt?
Or, maybe Visenya ponders the situation-believing Rhaenys never listened to her-and then realizes that the reason she tried to take Dorne a second time was because Rhaenys WAS listening and trying to impress her older sister?

This was fantastic. I think you captured the characters perfectly considering that we don’t know that much about them like the ones who actually appear on screen. I love Visenya’s character and the way you wrote her is phenomenal! Good job! Definitely one of my favorite one-shots on this side.

This was incredible. Well written and characterized, visceral, but with Visenya's stern reserve. Great job!

I love this so much. With Visenya being one of my fav characters, I reckon you captured her personality really well.

Beautiful! You really captured Visenya's personality in this and magnificently explored the relationship of their relationships. I love it!
