My gosh, dude! This chapter was totally worth the wait! I also forgot for a minute how much work goes into writing for this story! I can only imagine all the research, drafting, etc. that go into making these chapters as great as you can make them. This is a good reminder of how much hard work, love and care you put into this story! I forgot about that for a moment and I'm glad this chapter reminded me of that.
Also, I didn't think Toko/Syo would wind up falling for Makoto in this story. I always thought you'd have her keep pining after Byakuya all the way to the very end. Either way, this was an interesting surprise and I can't wait to see what the next chapter brings us! I personally hope you'll be able to update regularly again, but only if it won't cause too much strain on you. Self care is important after all.
I hope we'll get to hear from you again soon, even if it's just a quick update. See you in the next chapter!

I love how much care and detail you put into not just each character but the circumstances around them and somehow manage to create chapters that are just as thrilling as the games these are based off of. Really like you work so far and am eager to see how the rest of the coming year goes. Makoto can try to deny it all he wants, but we know it, his family knows, everyone of his friends knows, man’s luck plays into an almost unnatural charisma; it’s that same charisma that draws all the girls in, even when he doesn’t realize he’s doing it.
On a side note I remember your whole danganronpa x destiny shorts after chapters 9-11; kinda curious to see more of it, or if it could be a separate story, with 1’s recap done and who knows how much time with all the other chapters, I’d dare to say you can possibly recap to the end of the Into the Light free expansion, right before The Final Shape. The going theory could be made that the Witness, even while messing with the Traveler, kept a sort of monitor on Makoto; after watching his progress and overcoming of Every simulation of the Pantheon, all the while maintaining so strong a light and hope, the Witness would know that Naegi would be the only guardian he couldn’t truly finalize, nor would he be able to sway Naegi into discipleship. So in a rather risky play, I can imagine the Witness would make one last play to ensure his victory, send any and all forces loyal to him after the legendary Hunter, which leads to Ghost being sent back to when his guardian lived his first life, and everything comes full circle to prepare and change everything. This is my just my take on if you can see yourself continue it, I leave that decision to you, but I personally believe it is an idea that is worth continuing. Thank you for your time.

I am still a bit confused tho, the basic story is apparently real if Mikan has heard of it & so is Hiroko being a nurse from back then, but her acting and all that other stuff was fake acting/based on fiction?

Ah. I hope your personal life is going better, and don't feel pressured to write if you don't want. Still, this chapter is a clear example of why we love your writing.
Ah, Toko aand Syo. I have a soft spot for them. I love how Naegi defended Toko's freedom and helped her get our of an abusive household. You can see that the shift of her feelings was gradual. How Naegi's kindness slowly wormed it's way into her heart. Surpassing her superficial love for Togami was easy when you take into account how much he did for her. In Syo's own words: "What girl wouldn't fall for him" after all he has done for her, so selflessly?
About Makoto being Celes' Vampire butler, I wouldn't mind a few snippets. I'm sure that, while most of the girls will be biting their nails in jealousy (minus Junko, who would try to go for the "seduce and steal the butler route", as its logical), they will certainly enjoy the treat of seeing butler Naegi (even if he has to wear white-face-make-up and red contacts). If Celes feels like *gambling* a bit, she would even try and order Makoto for a... massage *wink* *wink*. Nothing too stimulating, of course. Just her bare back would suffice. Enough to leave a mark on his mind. She is a classy lady, it wouldn't go to look desperate.

This was definitely a beautiful chapter for Toko. I quite enjoyed what you did for her and the backstory especially the ending. She deserves happiness and I'm happy that she now has it. Also I quite enjoyed the little bit of mentioned yuri between Syo and Sonia. The fact that Sonia was willing making out with a former serial killer is incredibly in character for her and Makoto doesn't seem to mind that his love interests/girlfriends are being open with his other love interests/girlfriends. I also enjoy how each of the girls addresses Makoto as something different like Sonia is Darling and Mikan is Beloved I just think that is a cute and adorable touch. Looking forward to the next update.
