This invoke a sudden curiosity as to how Blackbeard even knew where Ace was (for some reason time-travel came up as a theory) and why he decided to take him. The whole remember his forgotten past when his brothers is dead has to be the worst for him though. On top of everything else.

This is so sad. But what must hurt the most for everyone that loved him, is that he never told anyone that he was sick. And because they had no idea, they could not help him, or even try to treat him and make him healthy again.
