I like your plot very much! Just want to feedback that things seem to be a bit over the top - too much to be realistically believed, even in an AU where Harry is MOD. The degree of compulsions/ extent of betrayal/ power and talents Harry feels too exaggerated for my liking. That's in my opinion, so please don't feel offended! It's what is preventing this fic from being a great next level work. You have a lot of things going for you- a pretty engaging writing style, nice plot line, a number of interesting OCs like Death, Life, Mischief and Mayham (I liked those!). The content just needs some moderating so it doesn't feel so in-your-face. Thank you for writing this, I look forward to seeing where the story goes all the same :)

Summary is confusing.
"Harry has lived a long and fulfilling life as a wizard, and he is ready to pass on when his time comes. Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Harry was happy with the way things turned..."
...the first chapter is Harry being abjectly miserable, detailing how his entire family died in horrible ways over the generations, and killing himself?
Fic seems like a reasonable fix-it, but the summary is only accurate in that Harry has lived a long life and had great-grandchildren. Very odd.

You don't mention the locket horcrux at Grimmauld Place. Are we to assume that Harry passed that to Tom as well and you simply forgot to mention it in the story?!
Is Dumbledore aware of who Professor Rivers really is since he resembles Tom Riddle? And if so, why hire him? Why else does he refer to dark times ahead at the second year sorting feast? Or is it because Quirrel is murdered?

If Harry can forgive Hermione and try to bring her on his side, then he could persuade Ron and Ginny too. All of them were children who were manipulated.
