Their friends are their biggest supporters and in their enforced dithering upon the two, both are finding they love each other.
Astrid's postings on social media while 'drunk from their last time together' are pointed out by Ruff while Snot nudges Hiccup to the conclusion his musings take him to.
Now for them to say it, to each other.

Holy mother of, I’m so glad that I didn’t give up on this honestly this is one of the most amazing fan fictions I’ve ever read and I appreciate you taking the time to write this. Their relationship progresses like a normal one and it’s nothing like others where their instantly boning. They have a real connection and it’s beautiful. Honestly, though? That kiss might be the main talking point now - and very much deservedly so - but this chapter was way more than that! The scrambled eggs... the jogging offer... the CV - I don't know why but I adore the CV scene so much - just the way you can go from light bickering in one paragraph to deep, serious and caring in the next but it all fits together so well and that's amazing :)
