Oh I just loved the beach fun they all needed that and they will remember that more than a theme park. Very fair punishment to be firm but keep the Patriarchs of the family happy.

Lol beach volleyball is a military staple, every rec area I have ever picniced at had a kids playground, a basketball court and a volleyball pit. And healthy young built men are great to watch!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I was sitting here in my room reading this chapter out loud in an angry voice. I'm so glad Ranger was so honest, and that he used the young girls as a point to the fact that THEY knew and followed the rules.
I think that if his father's "compromise" is not just, he should ask him how he would feel if his wife's body was dropped on his step with her fingernails pulled out, her teeth pulled out, her body burned by cigarettes, and cut all over, her body raped and sodomized like the woman in the tape, then stabbed and just dropped off on his step dead like a UPS package. THAT's how SERIOUS this is, and there is NO place for Julio's and Oshanna's spoiled brat actions, and telling people that they have bodyguards because their life is in danger, just so they can feel IMPORTANT.
Yeah, I feel a bit better now that I got that off my chest. I'm going to read something fluffy.

I found this story a few days ago and just got caught up. I love the plot and the long, detailed chapters. Interesting how Mama thought sending the traitor away was a good idea until she found out it's her baby. I'm curious to find out what Carlos' dad recommends be done with Shoshanna. Personally, I'm in the "take her out back and shoot her" group, but I doubt that will be Papa's recommendation, lol. I appreciate how you have stressed throughout the story how Carlos' parents have continually spoiled his younger siblings. It makes it completely believable now that Shoshanna has difficulty understanding how dangerous her tweeting was. She's so clueless and ignorant. Not to mention selfish, foolish, and untrustworthy! I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter. Kudos on creating such a compelling story!

I'm not so sure Ricardo will be too lenient. After all he is the father and is the one who taught them to be the people they are and to know right from wrong. I think his punishment will be lighter than Rangers but still severe enough to leave an impression on all involved. Interesting that Ranger was so literal and put the gun in Oshanna's hands then to his forehead. I'm sure everyone who saw that will have that image ingrained in their memory for awhile, Steph and Julie will probably have a few nightmares over seeing that in person. Love where this has gone and is going.

I I think she needs to be shipped back to Boston and put on lock down. This way not only is she on lock down if she tries to get away she will be in unfamiliar territory. I think Julio should go with her.

Sigh. You have me so invested in this story and then to end without knowing what suggestion was going to be made. In a way, I don't think Oshanna should be seperated from the family. She should have to face everyone's censure and learn her actions have consequences. That is if her parents would stop enabling her. Poor Ranger, dramatic but accurate forcing her to hold the gun to his head, I hope the rest of the family acknowledge the damage she has done him.
