Another great chapter (in addition to the all the ones before this!) - I love the POV you are providing, seeing the BMIC not being so in charge is quite the change of pace. Loving this insight.

I am so happy that you are continuing this series. I love that he shared the money with his family and is willing to help them to invest it.

What a great chapter to end with. Loved the story, the descriptions of the places, all of it. The Manoso family was fun to get to know, altho a couple of them were pains. You kept things moving, and it was fun to see what the newest chapter brought. Thank you.

Oh, I was REALLY, REALLY wanting to get Morelli's reaction in this one, but I will definitely stick around for the sequel. I have loved every chapter of this story. I kind of got lost a bit with all the traveling, since I'm not a big descriptive reader, but I still enjoyed it and learned a lot. The character interaction was outstanding. Completely loved getting to know all of Ranger's family and seeing why he is the way he is.
I just knew before you wrote it, that if he let his sisters know ANY of the money amounts, and I KNEW he would lower it, that they would automatically get greedy. I just can't believe that Angelia was the first one (well, yes I can believe it) to say he was being greedy and keeping the money for himself instead of splitting it between all of them. They didn't even ask how much the trip cost, all the traveling, the private plane, the fuel, food, entertainment, shopping, etc., not to mention the exorbitant amount of the cost of hazard pay for his men for 24/7 bodyguard duty for that many men for TWO WEEKS. And that wasn't even counting his trip to take care of the problem. Hopefully, they'll never get wind of the name of Sergio in the news, or of his properties, because they would cause him problems without thinking rather than be happy with the millions they were GIFTED by Carlos.
He was even generous enough to give Julio 3 million, even though he wasn't even in danger, himself. I AM glad, though, that he put his parents in charge of Oshanna's money, because she would have done exactly what he said with the money and wasted it.
Such a great story. I can't wait for the sequel.

Sweet! Nice opening to the next phase. Is Morelli going to go quietly? That would be out of character!

I could see Steph starting a charitable foundation of some kind.
The only thing that really bothers me is that even women that work in Washington, DC quit wearing pantyhose about 20 years ago. I know because I worked for a non-profit downtown for 19 years.

I'm so glad you're writing a sequel, otherwise I would hate to see this story end. I've really enjoyed it, not just the plot, but also your amazing attention to detail. I feel like I've been on a vacation to Hawaii! I wish I could have reviewed more, but it's very difficult since I've lost the sight in my right eye. My left eye is my weaker eye, but fortunately between enlarging the font and using a magnifying glass, I'm still able to read. Congratulations on finishing your first wonderful story!
