Something I saw in your A/N, you said you don't know much about amputations, and I was going to say I could help in that subject when it comes to certain situations if you wanted. Sort of like a "Personal Fanfiction Generator" Or your PFG for short.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any Bible verses because my memory is horrible, in fact I was asked today how old I was and it took me while to remember I was 18. I am a sad sad human being. Anyway, I hope you do share some verses:) I always like learning something new:) weirdly enough most of what I’ve learned from and about God is not from reading the Bible (but that’s probably because of my reading disability’s), but mostly by just thinking about it and listening to my dad who was a pastor. The biggest things I’ve learned is “ What it means to love your enemies” and “Why bad things happen to good people even though God has the power to stop it/ force everybody to do good”
So what does it mean to love ones enemies? Well here is what I believe. It starts with the fact that God is Love and everything he does is Right, So God is what is Right. Next is the fact there are many different kinds of Love (which also means God is not just one kind of Love, but He is all Love) the different kinds of Love are, “The Love for your parents/ family”which can be slightly different for each person depending on the your relationship with them. “The Love of your country” “The Love of your friends” “The Love for yourself” “The Love for and of God or Godly Love”
And now we come to “The Love of your enemies”. “The Love for your enemies” is simply doing what is Right towards them, and as I stated before God is what is Right and He is also Love, so doing what is Right towards them is Love. Yes I Know when you think of Love you think of how it feels, which is the feeling of affection, but for each different Love you probably feel different levels of affection. But for your enemies, you probably don’t feel affection for them at all when they hurt you, and when you do what is Right towards them even after they hurt you, you still probably don’t feel affection. But that’s ok, because when you choose to do what is Right towards them, even though they hurt you, you are choosing to Love them because God is Love and what is Right. Now forgiveness is another story and like Loving your enemies, can be REALLY HARD TO DO, but I digress.
Now why do bad things happen to good people? And why does God allow Bad things to happen and for people to be bad? Welp here’s my understanding of it.
Now let’s start this with a question, do you want to force people to Love you? like in the shows and movies where people are paid to hang out and like you, or magically forced to love you. The answer. Probably not. (Unless we have some weirdos here;) lol, kidding of course because I’m a weirdo) yeah, anyway. God feels the same way. He didn’t want to force us to love Him, even though He could, but He wanted us to choose to love Him because we wanted to. So He gave us Free Will, to choose what we want to do, to be able to Choose to Love Him. But we abuse this Gift of Free Will and the beginning of abuse began with Adam and Eve. With the Free Will God gave us, they Chose to sin. So when we Choose to Sin with the Free Will God Gave us, it has an effect on those around us, this is why bad things happen to good people. Now God could stop the bad thing that was happening by taking away our Free Will, but God wants us to Choose to love Him and to Choose what is Right, not force us. And that’s because He Loves us. Its sorta kinda related to this quote. “A gift that is demanded, is no gift at all.” Yeah getting a gift from someone when they want to give it to feels better and is different than when you say give me that and get it.
Oh my gosh, this all seemed shorter in my head and seemed waaaaayyy less complicated. I hope this all makes sense and maybe helped some of y’all the same way it’s helped me:) also again this is just my point of view and my understanding.

It takes a deft hand to write religious themes into fanfiction stories so as not to come out too heavy handed and/or dogmatic-something, to date, I believe that you are accomplishing with this story.

This is a nice story, though I'm not too fond on all the religious elements. However, I'm invested in this story now, and I'm interested in learning what's up with him. All I could ask is that maybe you include a warning in the summary for someone who may not want to see stuff like this. It's just my silly opinion, and I'm not gonna shove what I think down your throat, it's merely a suggestion. I've liked quite a bit of your other stuff in the past.
