Just found this story. As a Hellraiser fan (at least for the first few movies), I look forward to seeing where you go with this, and how Batman does when up against the Cenobites.

Oh, and loving Channard's description of the Joker. Very fitting.

Keep up the good work.

I'm actually a fan of Hellraiser (the first two movies and the novella atleast) so a crossover like this is interesting. And kudos to you for adapting Dark Victory into this, I'm curious how this story is going go unfold.

I'll be honest i've never seen the Hellraiser movies, and everything I know from the comics comes second hand information having never read them.

But I still enjoyed this first chapter.

We see what looks like the birth of what may soon be one of Batman most dangerous enemies yet in Joseph Thorne after solving the puzzle box.

So if I understand right the Cenobites will/have transend Joseph into not only of them, but the new Engineer. Who if the information I looked up was is their leader.

I'm also guessing Joseph is Rupert Thornes brother, so that's bound to be a important piece of information later. Along with whoever is Joseph ex wife and daughter are probably.

We see Barbara meet and possible befriend the protagonist of Hellraiser Kirsty. Who is most likely going to be a important ally for the Bat clan.

That confrontation between Bruce and Mario was interesting. While I can understand why Bruce doesn't trust him, I think Mario made a point about no child being like their parent, and that you should blame a child for the sins of the parent.

Finally we see that the new head of psychiatry Philip Channard not only has the puzzle box, but already knows about the Labyrinth. I can already guess his thirst for knowledge will be his undoing.

He's given the puzzle box to none other than the Riddler, so it's sadly only a matter of time before it's solved again and the horrors freed. Though I'm curious if Joseph will Nigma about the Labyrinth and the reasons why he wants the box solved.

Anyway while not familiar with the Hellraiser movie or the events of the Batman comics, you have still created another very interesting story that I'll be sure to follow. :)
