Ben don't have a sorcerer form. Ben would have scanned Gwen. Ben would have five Anodite forms. Ben can change his gender. Only three of his Anodite forms are trans female. One of those Anodite forms is green.

Very sweet and endearing. Something one learns as a father is that no matter what happens you love and cherish your children. Especially because they all too quickly grow up.

Strong opening, with Eliot calling out Ben on his morals (including lying) and actions, while also warning him of possible prison. Good transition to the Circus Freak partnership, and the intense scene w/them dealing w/Vilgax worshipers. Solid conflict at home w/Ben holed up in the lab & being out messing w/his relationship w/Gwen.
One small fix-
I promise.(")
Surprising scene with Frightwig at home. And a positive change in Ben's routine to spend time w/the family. Nice mention of visitors, as well as the end of the Vilgax worshipers, thanks to SECT. And the virus dying out works great. Enjoyed the story. Thanks for wrapping it up!

Wow, that was an extreme chapter with highs and lows and highs again. Quite nervous being told that he couldn't do any more vigilantism because if he did, he'd risk being put away behind bars possibly.
So then, he accepts what SECT say and is then coerced by another, I liked that part.
Just goes to show that even within an agency as large and well known as SECT there are still factions within that will have their own secret agendas.
Glad Ben was able to get some empathy from Alan Allbright too, least that guy knows what Ben's baby is going through.
And Gwen blaming herself, I had a feeling she would come to regret her decision, sooner rather than later.
Honestly, I thought that with her mind tricks, that Frieda would end up getting Ben to sleep with her...maybe you could do an alternate ending where he sleeps with her and then kills her in the morning lol.
All in all, nice ending to a good AU and different timeline to your main story.

I greatly enjoyed this chapter. I loved Eliot’s humor in the beginning. Yes, Ben went pretty dark in this, which is understandable where that comes from given the circumstances. But I am glad he was able to overcome it for Gwen. I am glad he didn’t have a fling with Figwig. It was sweet that it didn’t have to cure the virus to have a happy ending. I like the mana bubbles playing and that friends and family could look past outward appearances and love Kenny anyway. Very good job.
