well... i can say this shirou is not hardened yet, untrained, and a rookie. unlike from several fanfics out there. quite good but frustrating. he is quite a pushover but I hope he become hardened later on

i don:t know if kiba is faster than vali, but perhaps vali ia holding back and thus shirou has never seen the full speed already? considering kiba is quite weak at the moment, he is just a knight devil without any refined quality

And he could kill Fafnir or another dragon,bath in his blood (and eat his heart?)he would have a extremely hard skin with a magical resistance and he would gain a Magic core(Draconic) that would solve his problem (being physically weaker than them and having less magic)and he would have a Prana Burst
(If he eat the heart he would gain wisdom of the dragon and archive a Sword would become a lot easier)

Shirou would be FAR more OP if he wasn't limited by his weak Magic Circuits. I doubt losing his Humanity would effect his Reality Marble much seeing as Reality Marbles are FAR more common in Dead Apostles than they are in Humans. He MIGHT me able to turn his Reality Marble into a Marble Phantasm if he lost his Humanity and became powerful enough. I suspect though that Only Serafall would be able to reincarnate him seeing as the Maou's Evil Pieces are the only ones with no Limiters placed on them and a Reality Marble would likely cost a lot.

Well shit. Excaliburs as shitty as they are in general terms of the powerscaling still have the capability to choose their wielders so a bit sentient is a given. As for Shirou he has a few notable options really, some of which you probably opened yourself. Reality Marbles are said to be an inhuman perception notable to be possessed by Demons. Ajuka's tinkering might give him a 'reincarnate' boost but unfavorable due to Shirou's personality. Artificial Sacred Gears on the other hand are fair game because those are made using mortal means and not miracles like Sacred Gears. I hope. At least they arent incomprehensible divine oddities that Shirou could probably sympathize with. Probably. Another thing to note that Shirou probably sympathize with living swords. Damn that's harsh. The Excaliburs are fair game but why make him pass out? Im pretty sure he's been through worse. Caliburn and Gae Bolg is probably more intensive. Although Destruction's usage might have spent him. Now that's just sad if understandable. Last but not the least is I REALLY hope you allow him to use Unlimited Bladeworks. People arent really as limited in means compared to Nasuverse, heck simply increasing his magical reserves would do well. Sorry just really excited that you updated. Also been rereading it because of the hype in some way though Shirou IS an incarnation of a Hero named EMIYA. Not that its really relevant but still a nice thought. The character dynamics are the best parts in my opinion. Probably why Great Red and Zeltrech even deem it interesting. If there is one early arc that could be the most interesting for Emiya Shirou to be in it would be the Excalibur due to his history and overall self. Kiba Yuuto's history of living where others have not could also draw a few lines. Heck I think Sword Birth came from UBW. Azazel's research could probably hit the jackpot thanks to Shirou but I think their dynamics are better like this. Hope he could guide and help him on his path. The fall out is going to be a headache but I really love the main cast's reactions to Shirou being connected to the faction leaders. Kiba will not take this lightly. Zelrecht don't merely do things for shits and gigs (Although it is a big part in whatever he do), he has to have some sort of reason. And "for shits and gigs" is just him directing his malevolent tendencies as an Apostle Ancestor toward something more benevolent.
So Zelrecht obviously have some sort of stake here to be dropping Shirou in...
