Your character is annoying and your characterisation is all over the place.
Is he confident or shy? Is he adventureous or a coward? Is he a strong man with a sad past, or just a crybaby who constantly pities himself?
Characters being complex or mysterious can be good, but characters constantly having abrupt personality switches? Having next to no continuity? The only in-story way to excuse the bad storytelling is to make him bipolar… but it still make for a painful read.
As it is you seem to write him one way to force the story ahead, then when you want drama you write him another way.
Add on that one of those personalities reads like a whiny, woe is me type virgin teenager from modern times? No thank you.

This is what makes fanfiction great, a satisfaction you just don't find in whatever canon you start with. Skyrim doesn't have enough great tales like this, but then it takes one hell of a writer to manage it. Thanks for posting!

I always enjoy stories where the Dragonborn/hero messes with people that want his/her soul. It's always fun to see what plot they come up with to mess with their enemies, immortal so the soul is never claimed, sell it to so many people they need to fight over who gets it, or maybe like this where it's avoiding the contract completely via a technicality.

MC needs to level that intelligence. it's becoming apparent he can't even understand a book on magic or comprehend the downsides of becoming a werewolf. Just his luck he's probably going to kill some innocent during his first transformation and get all emo.
