Go on with the story, but make it abit more serious. It sounds silly when your just throwing all the events leading up to her death in to one chapter. You never explained about Luke, does he know that Leia is his sister? Will he come looking for her? Does Leia become a Force ghost? By making Leia in to Lily, you are disregarding both the Cannon and Legends Star Wars universe. That is fine, its fan fiction but I hope you've got a plan for that.
