I never knew I wanted a good guardian Vernon AU before but damn am I happy it exists. I’ve only ever seen it done with Petunia and Dudley, I hope there’s more out there. It’s also hysterical to think that Vernon actually being a decent person would result in a Harry that is still good but absolutely feral.
This was a fun ride, though I will admit the last chapter was weak, an epilogue chapter catching up with everyone afterwards would’ve worked better. There’s a lot of potential left on the table because of it, like seeing if Ron ever grew up and his reaction to Percy marrying Hermione, who somehow still ended up with a Weasley. Also how the wizarding world changes now that they’re able to use technology, reform discriminatory laws, and just stop so stagnant in general.
Oh well, it was still worth reading, if only for the glorious image of Lucius Malfoy terrorising his peers in a helicopter, laughing maniacally. Honestly a whole mood ngl
