It was fun giving Millie a chance to shine. I also loved when one of Draco's bookends declared he wanted to marry Hermione, but then decided he couldn't figure her out enough to know what he was admiring. And Dobby rocked appropriating Dumbledore's marshmallows to comfort Millie. I also enjoy it when Vernon is an actual, thinking competent business man. Fast, but fun.

Last chapter not quite as good as the preceding three, but not bad. Things just wrapped up to quickly. Dumbles died in prison, what happened to McGonagall? Love the idea of Lucius with a helicopter. Major complaint? the story is over. Thanks for writing a great tale. Now 4:00 AM, may get some sleep after all.

So much for sleeping. I read this whole story in one sitting. Great humor, lots of imagination, I especially like the Room of Requirement renamed as the Hollideck. So much fun. Thanks for writing and sharing and happy endings (for most).

I really enjoyed this story - thanks so much for posting! You did a great job of creating an AU based on one change and the possible consequences of that change. I always enjoy a good story where Dumbledore's manipulations are exposed and he has to face the consequences. :)

Love the story. The ending kind of jarred me, it came to an end so quickly, but otherwise, I loved a smart Harry, who was prepared brilliantly by, of all people, Vernon! I loved how he brought everyone together who ordinarily would never have co-operated with one another. And it was excellently done, because Harry being taught how to not alienate potential allies, even if he personally disliked them, was not a hard concept to swallow at all. It worked for this story. Great job!
Someday, I'd love to read a story where someone explains to Dumbledore that having heard the prophecy, did not mean he had the obligation to steer how it would unfold. I mean, the prophecy didn't say something like "...the One with the power to vanquish the Dark lord will be led by the wise mentor how will ensure his victory...". Dumbledore's hubris was really overwhelming. He really is an unrepentant meddler.
