I love this story so much! So well written, and your OCs are so great. Nummy and Meph are my faves for sure, so happy Mephy's back! It'd be incredible if Meph and Boom had a romantic thing goin on but no matter, still such a beautiful story. Can't wait for the next chapter!

In all seriousness, this was a great chapter. It looks like Eggman's got plans to use the Phantom Ruby in another one of his schemes. I'm excited to see what kind of role the Phantom Ruby will play in the story.

Something about the story so far felt forced, but this one's definitely back in the swing of things. Maybe I'm just not a fan of long periods without much action in this series. Your spot-on characterizations continue to make me laugh, though.
I should probably get around to finishing my own next chapter...

HES USING THE PHANTOM RUBY! *cough* sorry, I got too excited there for a minute
Seriously, great chapter. I think it was way better than the last one (if only for the lack of horribly depressing things to happen XD ). The boys cooking was hilarious, Shadow was in character, Boom was in character, I felt bad for Mephy and then got excited when he used the emerald to heal himself... I’m starting to wonder if he really IS just using the powers he’s supposed to have. Since he was able to call out the dark stuff again.
Honestly tho - Penumbra is my favorite. The way he keeps harassing Boom cuz he’s being mean XD I was slightly disappointed Blaze didn’t correct any of Penumbra’s Speaking this time. Oh well. I always find that hilarious.
I know my reviews are mostly just retelling the story you wrote... so I apologize they’re not better XD
I wonder where eggman is tho. Is he manipulating the ruby himself? Is bat also a phantom?! All the questions... I hope the gang doesn’t get too hurt... and I feel bad for Sonic he’s never had friends that have such a wildly different view on life before - besides shadow. But Shadow is honestly more like him than not. Because Shadow also hasn’t killed the doctor yet P

This story is so amazing! I had read the other two ones that are an part of this in two days! I just want you to know that you have an amazing skills of writing the details, how the characters should act. Putting some humor in it also!
Also now my favorite characters from the series is Boom, Mephiles, and Nummy! I just love how they act!
