Just found this story, I like how outspoken Katniss was as a small child and how she stood up for Peeta. They have a supportive friend group and have gone thru a lot so far but the reaping will be a test. Thanks for sharing this story.

I really like how you showed their back story. How Peeta and Katniss relationship grew out of friendship into a more intimate, personal relationship.
It was cute how they became best friends with Delly. A tantrum can go a long way especially with parents. Delly's parents didn't want her to befriend Peeta becasue he was one of, "them." Delly didn't care. I think it was sweet how the Everdeen helped Peeta with his prosthetic leg. They let him be a normal boy growing up!
All of the town was prepared for a mine explosion. The town went into emergency mode when the explosion happened. Sad news for the Everdeen and Hawthrone. Their father suffered body damaged, but they were alive!
Peeta kissed Katniss. She was the one who tried, but this time he did it! AWWW!
