Ah, I figured I was right; Delly just wanted a good life for her baby. Of course what she did was wrong, but it wasn’t out of pettiness.
I like how this chapter shows why Peeta loves Katniss so much; she makes him feel valuable.

The alone time was well deserved and gave them time to reconnect. I like that they got a chance to connect with Gale before they got back to town and everyone was happy for them. Rye is so cute in this story. He really loves gossip. I wonder if he will emblish the Delly/Katniss "talk."

Thankful you so much for the update, it was so good. Peeta's breakdown was not surprising. He was so nervous and overwhelmed. Delay better watch her back when Katniss reruns. I'm not sure if Madge's note will help but Katniss is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I'm guessing the note was about Rye's pay back.
