I have to admit this magic system you’re coming up with that requires constantly shifting mindsets for every single spell is weird as can be and not at all practical because if they are in the middle of a fight and they need to cast a string of spells in quick succession they won’t be able to do that because they won’t have the time to constantly shift like that.

Why is it that in every fanfic, owls hate Percy? I mean, horses don't hate Annabeth even though she's a daughter of Athena. Is it just that horses developed Poseidon's laid back attitude while owls developed Athena's...intensity?
