I’m not the cullens biggest fans, but I always loved jasper and Emmett and felt like SM made them so stupid. I have always felt that there would be so much more to jaspers character and not just the one who couldn’t control himself. Not only did you provide a great way that he is trying to earn redemption you also made him smart. The one thing I like about fanfic is how people have come to realize that he wouldn’t have survived this long without being the smartest and most calculating. Of course he felt Edward deserved what he got. Of course he was able to solve the murder.
Also I love Jake and Alana. This characterization of Jake is just so well done. I love how fierce he is protecting his people from the cullens. They really did ruin lives and he’s not gonna take it anymore. I also love Alana. She is so smart and well rounded.

this was so beautifully written, particularly Jacob's analogy about the hole and fixing it up. such a beautiful piece about dealing with loss and all the emotions that surround it. This is one of the best fanfictions I have ever ready. Wonderful world building, great character development, Alana feels like she was always part of the Twilight verse. Bittersweet to hear its coming to an end, but very excited for future projects!
