This story is just so fascinating! The amount of detail and care you add to each character is so, so lovely! Really, it’s so unique. I’m holding out a lot of hope that we’ll see more — I’m literally salivating at the thought of more!

Kol being possessive over Kaja is very adorable — it’s a sweet reminder of how young he is and untouched by all the crazy that vampirism will bring. I also like the way you revolve around the perspectives different members of the Mikaelson family. It really helps flesh out each character.

I love Nik telling Kaja about Freya — it firstly explains some of Mikael and Esther’s willingness to take in an orphaned girl, and it also such a lovely detail that’s telling of Nik and Kaja’s relationship. I’m very excited to see the relationship tags play out as well — of all the members of the Mikaelson family, Kaja seems like she will be involved romantically with the two most volatile members. Amazing story — so creative and well written.

Great story but I don’t think the Mikaelsons would know about peacocks yet so the drowned Kol couldn’t be compared to one. I could be wrong though.
