This was a lot if fun! I think Harry would be a good squire! Albus would be against it, but that's all the more reason why its a good idea! He'd learn a lot. He'd be safer from the Dursley's tender care. It would probably make Draco back off.

lol Luna's chapter was hilarious. The twins a close second.
I'm truly upset Harry didn't make it into the fic before it was dropped. The previous chapters really made me curious! For example would Harry approach the Commander? I think not! And if asked to make his case (you know after spending an adequate amount of time pulling the words out his mouth with chains) I think instead of exalting his virtues and qualities (like Ron and Malfoy) on what he could offer the Order he would do the opposite. i.e. ask to become a squire because he needs aid, structure and guidance (i.e. he needs a parent - but a proper Mentor would do) which everyone around him refuses to provide both in day to day life and as he finds himself in escalating life and death situations having to rely on little information, a lot of luck and enough bravery to be called foolishness! Also, out of all the students whose got a leg up on their CV like him?! Possessed DADA teacher and giant basilisk anyone? and let's not forget a ready made Dark Lord out to kill him. You might be going a little out of order there, Harry.
Honestly, I'd be really curious what the commander would say to him? Stop holding yourself back, don't let the opinion or actions of your friends, peers, guardians or teachers affect your choices or determine your future, stand up for yourself, eat more food, accept your fame and make a plan to survive it, instill a modicum of self care and self preservation into your life choices...? He might actually need as much of a confidence booster as Neville tbh, the poor kid. I honestly wonder if in your story you were planning on having him accepted as an apprentice or if you'd have sent him away to 'grow up' like Ron and accepted him at the end of the year.
I live in hope you'll one day write just one more chapter just so we get to see the conversation between Starsteel and Harry! Kudos :D

Oh god, you always paint Ron in that light... and I always pretend you do so under the imperius.I can usually handle most bashings - by ignoring them, but that's beside the point - but if you start on Dumbledore, I'm gonna have to abandon this fic, but looking at your other stories, I don't think you will.

All in all, this was an interesting read, and I rather hope you decide to add more chapters to it someday! A chapter on Ginny, another close-to-main character in the series, would be interesting, particularly as I suspect your Knight-Commander might possibly be able to tell she was recently possessed.
A chapter on Harry would be interesting too, but I strongly suspect that Dumbledore has given orders to every teacher, ghost, portrait and house-elf in the castle, to the effect that Tiavan Starsteel is to be watched carefully and is not allowed to be alone with Harry Potter, EVER, not for even ten seconds! He's not going to risk the slightest chance of her luring the Boy-Who-Lived away from Hogwarts, not while there's a prophecy to fulfill.
Mind you, I would also be interested in learning what the Knight-Commander and Remus Lupin might say to each other. And/or the Knight-Commander and Sirius Black...
