He still had family? F**k off! No he didn't! That was the whole f**king point of Harry's rant!
That was some major OOC crap there. Dumbles would never openly talk about anything because he was a plot device and not a real person. If you apply any logical sense to him, the whole canon story falls apart and he's the biggest dark lord the world has ever seen.

Very nice character study of Albus. The phoenix tears imbued brandy was inspired! Kudos!

Ah, if only the characters would behave in a way that fits the “explanation “ given later. Instead of changing accents and vocabulary yet still spouting nonsense that leaves us all scratching our heads. For example, Barry taught that a caster weak in the Dark arts would cast a killing curse that only tickled, Bellatrix confirmed the general theory - yet nobody else survived the killing curse. What?

This is how I prefer to interpret Dumbledore: not as some scheming evil mastermind, but as a man, one ill-suited for a shadow war, but thrust into a lot of power nevertheless, and who has consequently made mistakes, with the fallout being commiserate with the responsibility thrust upon him. Good hearted, well-intentioned, but as fallible as any other human.

This is fanfiction is amazing, it shows how bad albus felt in making all of those mistakes in his life, he did indeed regret all of what he had done, not a single day past, that he doesn't regret what he had done, I love how harry got mad while albus was getting a upset, he may not be an angel because all the bad things he done in life, if I'm being honest he literally save the whole wizarding world basically. I never understood how people can hate his character, I hope you will be making new fanfictions of albuss character and maybe about his past with gellert grindelwald.

It is a nice take on Dumbledore for sure, and something that really should have happened.
While I agree that the prophecy is meaningless, I am not fully in agreement with why it is meaningless.
Because the canon reason for why the prophecy is ultimately meaningless is far better.
Dumbledore's take in canon was that the prophecy isn't forcing anyone to act. It is merely a commentary as to what will happen. That is about as useful as you telling your friends that it will rain tomorrow because of some random observation you made today. You being right doesn't mean that you made it rain...
Same way, the prophecy only stated that there will be a person who will be able to challenge Voldemort, and both of them will take the other's person's existence personally. Just because it was right, doesn't mean it made the whole thing happen...
And this is essentially the point made by Dumbledore to Harry in Half-Blood Prince. For some reason many people overlook it.
I do wholly disagree with is the whole "no killing" thing. Dumbledore never did implicitly or explicitly state that in canon. The most he did was send spells Voldemort's way that had Voldemort taunting the headmaster with being above killing. That doesn't really mean that the spells weren't potentially lethal and couldn't kill another person, just that Voldemort didn't find them lethal. Add in Dumbledore's response which was essentially "there are things worse than death" and I don't see how it implies that Dumbledore is against lethal spells. I don't really know why it's such a staple in fanon.
But yes, I do agree that it would be a much better idea for Dumbledore to have taken a much more firmer stance and to be much more open with Harry.

Wow, it's almost as if there could be a continuation on this one. Very good, deeploding and thoughtworthy...

Kind of a shitty story, tbh. Where is the magic? The wand waving? The utter non-sense harem? Magical core? Broom fight?
Good concept, but there is no way Dumbledore is that manipulative. He died like a lil' New Yorker soyboy from Severus killing curse.
