A few word hiccups (no pun intended), but overall a good start. I've always sort of seen Hiccup and Varian as kindred spirits, so I'm very interested to read what comes next.
Just 1 question; the black rocks are growing from Corona, through the sea bottom, and are popping up on the Edge now? Fascinating.

Crap, normally I would login but I forgot my password.
Either way, love this concept! I've always wanted to see Hiccup meet Varian and just have them both nerd out. Although seeing Hiccup help him through this phase of his character is interesting as well.
Kinda wanna see Hiccup make a sword or weapon out of the black rocks since the Tangled season finale showed that guy.
