I know jack shit about the setting of Log Horizon since I haven't seen it but I'm enjoying the worldbuilding.
One of the things that you should have made clearer though is whether player deaths are permanent now. People are certainly acting like they are, however there has been no solid confirmation either way. And perhaps the most annoying thing is that the main cast doesn't seem the least bit curious about this either.
PS: How can Illya with a strait face claim to be an atheist when she is a magus? I mean she KNOWS for a fact that multiple gods are real :P

And since they are all there they won't fall into the trope of having to "beat an MMO to escape back to their family." Although they still might want to try simply due to wanting to return to Shirou's cooking :P
Little else to say on this chapter since it was mostly exposition. The concept is great though. Looking forward to see where you take it.

The Royal Guard is composed of Landers equipped with the magical equivalent of overpowered power armor that needs to be within a massive magical circle underneath the city that also provides energy to the barriers at the city limits, in other words the city’s safe zones. I think you’d need to atleast search the wiki or watch the two seasons of the anime. That plays an important role in one of the narrative arcs of the series. And one thing, is Illya’s current physical appearance similar to Archerko from Sword Dancers? And will Rin and ReGan have heated discussions about magic? Rin probably but I don’t know how will ReGan react to her, the guy is cool but also very enigmatic...

Huh, I wasn't expecting much, as I've read others who've tried this crossover before.
But this story is actually pretty good.
I really enjoy how the Emiya Family experiences this new world from the ground up. I hope you don't level them too fast and make them mingle with the 'npc' world more.

If I’m reading in between the lines correctly, this starts from an alternate version of the Heaven’s Feel True End where Illya survives, Shirou didn't lose his original body, and Shirou hooked up with both of the Tohsaka sisters? How far off am I?

One of my favorite things in a F/SN crossover, with focus on all 4 characters, combined with my #1 anime of all time. With quality writing.
Definitely looking forward to more. Will the Emiya Family encounter Hamelin or Log Horizon, specifically mindfucking Shiroe with their busted OP abilities?

This is great so far, I will point out a bit of advice for your future though, google log horizon overskills it will help be an ‘explanation’ that they might be able to use for their magecraft later in the series
