Well this broke me! What a rollercoaster of emotions. I didn't read this when you first put it out, as I have to be in the right head space for sad, emotional stories. Yeah, I am this week.
This was so real, the raw emotions, Elizabeth disasociating, Henry's letters (wow), the kids processing and the bit where Elizabeth is hesitation about sex. Honestly amazing writing!

OMG THAT WAS both heart breaking and tearful I don't know how anyone could have read it dry eyed Thank you for writing it I just recently found this site and it is wonderful I hope you keep writing

Omg.. so tearful it was from chap by chap... but end of powerful. Loved how message McCord tore apart Conrad as a friend.
