I like this story. But I keep imagining Louise and Saito to randomly disappear and end up in a secured unknown facility where they are kept in a nice well equipped room on a nice table with their limbs constrained as the humming of electromagnetic pulse machines remains. With machines monitoring their brain waves etc., heartbeat, blood pressure and the usual. While few technicians with full on hazmat or quarantine outfits are preparing reports on their findings.
Back in Tristainia, Henrietta and Valliere's are seething with rage about the disappearance of Louise and Saito but they can't do anything since the leaders of Canada and U.S vehemently deny their involvement.
Meanwhile, special operations teams are conducting their information gathering activities in Romalia, Gallia, Germania and even the elven lands to some extent.
As for the possibility of nuclear warheads being an option, just in case something were to happen. They are also strategically located in unknown and secure places around the Halkegenian continent.
Finally, the efforts to recreate the magical properties and how to utilize them for both military and civilian uses have been mildly successful but require more test subjects.

But still, at least the Americans, Canadians and British can put a lampshade on the religion similarities (Yes, I'm a Troper)
And also the the Pope can at least visit Romalia to establish diplomatic relationship with them, just like Pope Francis's recent visit to Middle East
But other than that, it's still a good chapter though, can't wait for future update

Oh God Trudeau looked like the classic awkward guy in a foreign land while in India.
I've really enjoyed this story thus far and cannot wait for more. Its both very interesting with its political intrigue but also with its action and overall story.
I suggest Saito be given a gift of the entire Stargate Series so he can show it to Louise. That and the original MacGyver since it has the same main actor which would make for a funny question or two from Louise :)

Hello, first of all, I want to say that it is the first time I read your story and the truth has fascinated me. I have always liked these stories of ZnT in which it is mixed with our world and yours is one of the best I have read.
Now talking about your story,
I liked that touch of political thriller that you have given, and above all how you have handled the political figures of the earth (Trump and Trudeau) and how you have been developing the story in Halkeginia.
Now that in your last chapter you show the capture of Cromwell and what seems to be the end of the conflict with Albion, was to imagine the superiority of the weapons of the earth and how it would be to show their power to the nobles.
The appearance of Vittorio at the end of the last chapter is interesting, I always ask what Romalia thought in this year of events in their world and that they had not gotten in yet, it will be interesting to see what they will do now.
Another that will be interesting to see will be Joseph now that practically the fall of Reconquista is almost complete.
That last appearance of Vittorio made me think of something, which is what the Vatican would be thinking after the discovery of Halkeginia, it is curious that you have not yet put a pronunciation of this in your story, or if the Vatican plans to send representatives to Tristain .

I really hope that doesn't mean love triangle BS.
So far this has been really interesting granted I was a little peeved/weirded out about what Saito knew about other countries. Though I am also a bit bummed out he didn't get to be a hero with the zero fighter plane.
Also have you thought about possible sequels once this fic reaches complete stage, cause from what I seen you could easily have one possible due to the gate portal and the usual twilight portal. Like for example a son of Louise and Saito ending up in the mess of the Gate anime series?
