Up until this story the author ‘Natsgirl’ has always been one of the most consistent and regular updaters of her stories that I’ve come across. I believe she completes the whole story first and then posts the chapters (usually) weekly.
In between writing her stories she loves to travel, where she greatly enjoys amongst other things country hikes (I’ve always enjoyed reading her very descriptive authors notes about her travels as well !)
Yet there hasn’t been an update now for over 18 months and it’s so unlike her.
The last update here on if I remember correctly, mentioned something about her son getting ready for college I think ?, and that there maybe a short delay in posting. That was the last time we heard from her.
I’m worried that something serious must have happened, I desperately hope I’m wrong.
So please if anyone does know anything could they post something as I’m sure I’m not the only one worrying, (especially in the light of what happened with EricIzMine)
I’ll also post this over on ‘Archive of our own’ (AO3) as well.

I've just absolutely blitz this and the the prequel. It's really hard to come across good writing, especially in fanfiction, but you had me hooked from the start.
It's not common that writers portray Eric's love for Sookie as a major weakness, I did appreciate it and how it added to the story.
I honest to God was not expecting Bernard to be responsible, I loved all the little twists throughout. I was shocked by Bridget's death as well, would love to finally have the conclusion to this. I know it can be off putting when people dont get the reviews that reflect the quality of your work, but updates mean so much to us few.
