I laughed and cried and laughed again and now I'm just a happy puddle in the floor because THIS WAS SO AMAZING! It felt like I was seeing it like it was an actual episode of the show!
I loved their constant bickering and their friendship (and courtship) and Duckworth's goodbye broke my heart QwQ thanks goddness he's back
I also loved your writing style. It's so fluent that I couldn't stop reading. You caught me into the story like a spider web catches a fly (and I enjoyed every second of it)

This ship never crossed my mind to be honest. But now, I'm kicking myself at how good this paring is and not realizing it sooner.
This is the first time I've read a story with this particular paring, and the way you wrote the two of them, it just works.

For someone who hasn't written anything for about a year, this was pretty fantastic! I can't exactly say there was anything that could've been written better, but I'm still working on trying to spot those kinds of problems that aren't just grammar issues.
In all honesty though, I never thought of this ship at all, and seeing how they were put in a pair in the character part definitely caught my interest. Needless to say, I pretty much like this ship now, at least seeing how it could work with all of this in mind anyways haha. It was pretty nice to see how they interacted here, being friendly rivals yet being really in love with each other. I figured there must've been some rivalry seeing how Beakley was towards him at the end of the episode, or maybe it could've just been her not taking too much of a liking to him, I don't know, ha.
But overall, it was a pretty nice one-shot you've created here. I'd definitely love to see more from you sometime in the future if it's possible.
