I wonder if Haymitch overheard Effie's conversation with Peeta about meeting other women. I don't think he would have told Katniss because that would let her know that he is working for Effie. I'm sure Katniss and Peeta are not happy about the speed dating.

You have to love Haymitch. He found a way to meet Peeta. The relationship between Katniss, Prim, and Haymitch in this story is wonderful. I'm excited for Peeta to enter the group.
