This is so profoundly sad and yet so beautiful. Erik imagining the mannequin saying that she loved him and would never leave him hurt my heart in the best possible way. Lovely, poetic writing!

So utterly sad and desperate. Poor Erik. He seems to be slipping into madness, his loneliness and need making it impossible to think straight. Grief will do that.

Wow. I read the first Erik/Mannequin story you wrote and thought the story couldn’t get any sadder, and then you prove me wrong! Great writing and full of emotion.

wow oh wow...so well written...but so terribly sad and depressing it was hare to get through...I mean where do we go from here? absolutely the saddest moat awful story i ever read but so very well written. Im not sorry I read it but it will haunt me honestly...jusst so sad and depressing...I cant pictyre my Eric going that low...but you make it real for sure. paula

This story is a perfect sequel to the first mannequin story. I love (and feel sorry for) Erik's descent into madness and how you can see his control slipping throughout the two stories until, at last, it breaks completely. Every time I read this fic it breaks my heart!
