But, here, she didn't even spare a thought about it. Hopefully, it really was an illusion and all in her head and it won't effect her.

I like the time travel premise and how Sarah and Jareth learn to be friends (Although Jareth is a dunderhead for trying to protect himself by pushing her away). I look forward to seeing how she navigates the rest of her run, and how Jareth reacts to her plans.

Just discovered this story—I know, I’m late to the party. Really well written and captivating. Hope you can get back to it though I admit five little ones is a lot to manage. Really enjoying this more sinister version of the labyrinth.

Awwwww. I love that he is being her childhood friend as a child. It's the sweetest thing. And being there for her birthday. But uhoh...that council meeting sounds ominous.
I can't imagine how hard it must be to try and act like an 8 year old and see your parents divorce, etc again. I definitely think you're handling that tricky aspect very well :)

You're a better person than I am. I was born in the UK too and I am unapologetic about using British English. Haha. I try to stay away from Kiwi and Aussie slang though. I figure I'm less likely to make mistakes with idioms, etc if I am familiar with them. And I don't consume that much North American media.
