I don't usually even read alt universe stories, but I really like this one. Can't t wait for the next part. I like that Harry has a family here and especially that Sirius is present.

Did a reread. still absolutely LOVE it! Hope that you will have time and the will to continue on with part 2, and, finish all 4 parts. Question - Did Harry and Hermione get that Healer evaluation? If so, anything different? I'm glad Hermione got her Crookshanks back. :) it's good that Harry has his familiar, too. I'll look forward to finding out it's name. I hope that they both get help to acclimatize to their situation and to destress from their old one. Not really sure if I favor them getting back to their old life or not. Good reasons for both, I reckon that if they leave, the family magic won't. A tad worried how that will affect their new family members, especially Lily. Perhaps the crystal ball can be tweaked into a sort of port key that is a tad more gentle and they (and others?) could go back and forth?
Anyhoo, you write very well, and weave the tale like a master. at this point I don't know if ole Dumbles is a good guy, just too stubborn to do things any differently, or if he is a secret bad guy. I do hope that you will come back.
